Project Rise SPOTLIGHT: Will Smith

One of the highest paid actors in Hollywood: Mr. Big Willy himself (oh, did I mention he has multiple Grammy's as well?)

I'm a big fan of Will Smith.  Why might you ask?...it's simple.  Pardon the pun, but he has "willed" his way to greatness with a ridiculous work ethic, clear vision for what he wants, is a student of particular patterns of success, and has an insane belief in himself.  We could all use more of that list above -- including myself.

In order to be the best version of you, it starts by modeling those who have achieved greatness.  Greatness varies for person to person, but for me, greatness is defined by maximizing every ounce of potential of one's ability, following your passion, and making a difference in the world.  I'd say Will can check all of those off his list.

A few months ago, I listened to this video while running on the treadmill each time I went to the gym...which was probably about 12 times in a month -- it's that good.  Take a look for yourself and apply these principles in your life and see what happens.  And while your at it, go watch Will's new film: Collateral Beauty.  Art imitates life, and I always learn something from Smith's films.
